Patricia Yunker Hartman, APR

A nationally accredited public relations practitioner, Patricia Yunker Hartman has over 40 years of experience in all aspects of marketing & communications including public relations, crisis planning and management, research, strategic planning, branding, product management, and advertising. Hartman helped found Imagery Marketing & Research Consultants, Inc., and serves as president, senior marketing advisor, and
research director. In 2000, Hartman and her business partner Carmen Brown used the Internet and technology to expand Imagery’s client base and conduct research, making it one of the first agencies in the Southeast to become “virtual.”
Hartman has been an instructor at the collegiate level for over 30 years, teaching courses in all areas of marketing and communications. She served as president of the Public Relations Council of Alabama, Inc. (PRCA), the Mobile chapter of PRCA, on the board of the Southern Public Relations Federation, as president of the Mobile Bay chapter of the American Advertising Federation (AAF), on district and national AAF committees and boards, and is a charter member of the Society of Strategic Planners & Marketing Professionals. She also served on public relations accreditation committees for national standardization of the public relations accreditation exam, and as the accreditation chair of the Mobile chapter of PRCA for several years. She has been active as a volunteer for many non-profit causes, for the Southern District of the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod, and for her home congregation. Hartman is married to Paul Hartman, a retired Port Captain for Warrior & Gulf Navigation
