PRAL Central Congratulates Cypress Award Winners

PRAL Central reinstituted its local award program this year and announced winners during its monthly meeting in March. There were 13 entries in with 12 awards given. Several members were entering projects for judging for the first time.

Those receiving Certificates of Merit were: Sarah Black, LSUA, Tactics: Publications and Writing and Tactics: Lagniappe; and Amanda Guillot, Roy O. Martin, Tactics: Website or other Electronic Medium. Those receiving Awards of Excellence were: Sarah Black, two awards for Publications and Writing and one award for Lagniappe; Christi Thomas, Fox48, for Community Relations/Corporate/External Communications; and Sarah C. Clancy, Rapides Regional Medical Center, Website or Other Electronic Medium and Lagniappe.

Those receiving the Cypress Awards were Jennifer Nichols, Visual Concepts and Designs, Special Event; and Micah A. Walker, MBA, Southern Heritage Bank, Integrated Social Media Campaign.

Micah A. Walker was also named Member of the Year and Sarah C. Clancy, APR was named Practitioner of the Year.

Visual Concepts and Designs received Best in Show.
