JOB OPENING: Business Development Director in Jackson, Miss.
Valley Services, Inc. is a national food service management company headquartered just outside of Jackson, Miss., in Flowood. We have been a leader in our industry since opening our doors in 1960. We serve nearly 300,000 meals per day across the United States and we employ close to 3,000 people in all of our business segments. We are currently looking for a Director, Business Development to work in our Corporate Operations Center in Pearl, MS. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three (3) years successful work experience in the area of sales and marketing. Previous sales experience in the food service industry is a plus. Must have extensive experience and skill in communicating written and verbally to various managerial and educational levels with particular emphasis in proposal writing, verbal presentations and successfully closing sales. Must be able to give presentations in English before groups of people. Computer skills required in a variety of programs including Microsoft Office Suites, Windows, Internet/Intranet, email and voice mail systems.
